Mark Cranham  Esprit Du Large was bought by Evan Williams at the 2017 Land Rover Sale from Niall Bleahen's Liss House. Esprit Du Large is the latest in a long line of top class horses sold at Goffs by the Bleahen Brothers, which also includes the Grade 1 winner Hardline who finished a close second to Min in yesterday's Grade 1 John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase with Presenting Percy in third.

TORNADO FLYER Grade 3 Klairon Davis Novice Chase - Navan Photograph: Patrick McCann This week's December National Hunt also received a timely boost with wins for previous Grade 1 bumper winner Tornado Flyer in the Grade 3 Klairon Davis Novice Chase at Navan, as well as the Nicky Henderson-trained Vegas Blue winning the Listed Henrietta Knight Mares’ Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race at Huntingdon. Tornado Flyer was sold at the December NH Sale by Grange Stud to Gerry Hogan Bloodstock and later at the Land Rover Sale by Pine Tree Stud to Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock. Vegas Blue was sold by Yellowford Farm to Kevin Ross Bloodstock as a foal at the 2015 December NH Sale. The Goffs December NH Sale takes place this week, 11 - 12 December beginning at 9.30am each day.
