Theopening spectacular, the Boodles May Festival, runs Tuesday 5 - Thursday 7 May and to celebrate the start of this special countdown, Chester are giving away 100 pairs of tickets to the opening day; City Day*.
The lucky winners will each receive a pair of Tattersalls tickets, with access to both sides of the track including the Paddock, with up-close viewing of the horses in the Parade Ring.
To enter this fantastic competition, all you need to do is visit our website and answer the following question correctly: "In which year was Chester Racecourse established?"
You must submit your entry before Sunday 9 February 2020 to be in with a chance of winning*.

" Tote and Chester Race Company agree partnership
The UK Tote Group and Chester Race Company have announced a four-year partnership which will see the Tote return to Chester Racecourse in 2020 to supplement the existing on-course betting provision from Chester Bet and take up sponsorship of the historic Chester Cup as part of an exclusive Boodles May Festival betting partnership.

Chester Racecourse has been confirmed as one of the top 11 racecourses to visit in England and Wales by Live Tourism, as part of the Racecourse Association’s (RCA) Quality Assured Racecourse Scheme (QARS).
Visitors to Chester have been given a New Year boost as Chester Racecourse confirm that both the racecourse and Linenhall car parks will offer free parking at least once a month throughout 2020.
