Ripon Racecourse News - V-E Day 75 Bank Holiday Friday 8th May 2020 Friday 8th May 2020 is the 75th anniversary of V-E Day and is a Bank Holiday!

We will be joined by the Armed Forces, Cadets and Veterans and there will be lots of military assets for all to see, from cannons and machinery to vehicles, war memorabilia and the amazing Scooby the dog with his impressive array of medals!

There will be a parade, music, lots of FREE activities for kids in the Course Enclosure and we will partake in the National Cry for Peace at 7pm.

How do I get involved?

Entry is available from just £5 (Course Enclosure) and as always, accompanied Under 18’s go FREE!

Whether you are a regular racegoer or you have never been, a day at the races can be anything, whether you want to enjoy watching the action from our main Paddock grandstand or enjoy a picnic with friends and family in the Course Enclosure, Bank Holiday Friday is the perfect opportunity to come along and experience what ‘Yorkshire’s Garden Racecourse’ has to offer.

Racegoers can purchase tickets through our website and all those who pre-book will be in with a chance to win some great prizes, including a VIP evening at the races!

FAQ Do I have to pre-book?

Providing tickets are still available you will be able to pay on the gate.

However, this is subject to availability and you won’t be able to take advantage of our Paddock and Club Enclosure pre-booking discounts so pre-booking is definitely recommended.
