Goffs UK Managing Director Tim Kent commented:
“We were all hopeful that we could start off 2021 with a January Sale held on its scheduled date at our Doncaster Sales Complex but new restrictions have meant that is not possible.
Taking into account that mares are in-foal or are soon to be covered, we wanted to assist breeders and facilitate an outlet for them and hence we have turned to our proven and user-friendly online platform to offer these mares along with the horses-in-training.
“Goffs have demonstrated that online sales can be very effective and that, along with the superb support received from breeders, owners and trainers who have sent us some outstanding horses, gives us confidence that we can conduct another successful online sale.
“This catalogue will be online only, there will be no printed catalogues, and we encourage prospective buyers to keep an eye on their desired lots on Goffs Online as we receive photos, videos, vet certificates, pregnancy and breeding certificates etc. in the build up to the sale.”
Supplementary HIT & breeding stock entries can be made for the timed online sale by contacting Goffs UK.
NH weanling entries for part 2 of the January Sale at the Doncaster Sales Complex will remain open until 20 January and can be made online here.
