Our meeting on Monday 17 August proved fruitful for two jockeys as Billy Garritty scored his first professional Flat winner and Matt Brown secured his first winner under rules!

Billy's win came aboard SAMARA BAY for Richard Fahey and the Nick Bradley Racing Syndicate and also secured him the Millbry Hill Ride of the Meeting, while Matt rode SNOOKERED into first place in the Brokes Amateur Jockeys' Handicap for Brian Ellison and the Brian Ellison Racing Club.

Champion Owner, Trainer & Jockey: Current Standings

Things are hotting up in the Champion Owner, Trainer & Jockey series as we head past the half-way mark in our 2020 Flat season. Middleham Park Racing currently leading the Owners Series with 3 winners so far this season, but there's a number of owners hot on their heels with 2 wins for the season so far!

Tim Easterby is leading the Trainers series currently, with 3 winners, 1 second and 7 thirds so far this season, and it's those placings that have kept him at the top so far, as both Brian Ellison and Eric Alston equal Easterby's 3 winners so far, with plenty of others close behind on 2.

The jockey series, kindly sponsored by Millbry Hill, is also very close. Paul Mulrennan currently sits at the top of the table with 3 winners, 2 seconds and 5 third placings and again it's the placings that nudge him ahead as Jason Hart, Daniel Tudhope, Kevin Stott, Hollie Doyle and Clifford Lee all match him on the number of winners.
