The independent Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority will convene on Thursday 24 September 2020 to hear an Appeal brought by Oliver Sherwood, trainer of PONTRESINA (IRE), against the decision of the Stewards at Fontwell on 6 September 2020 to reverse the placings following interference in The Final Furlong Podcast Novices' Handicap Steeple Chase (Class 4) (GBB Race), placing SCHANBEL (IRE) first and PONTRESINA (IRE) second.

1. The Panel for the Appeal will be: William Norris QC (Chair), Lyn Griffiths and Steve Winfield.
