Perth Racecourse has today made tickets available for sale to the general public for the first time in almost two years – ahead of the track’s next big fixture a week today (Saturday 19th June)

ollowing the success of the return of Annual Members to the racecourse at the bet365 Perth Gold Cup on Sunday, the Perth team are progressing with the next stage of their phased return of racegoers.

BRAW Raceday, on the afternoon of Saturday, 19th June, will see Perth welcoming members of the public in a new Park & Picnic Bubble area specially designed to provide the safest possible racing experience on what will be a first return to such an event for most.

Park & Picnic Bubble tickets shall allow families or groups within their own safe bubble to arrive at the racecourse in their car, park in a designated area, enjoy their own space, have access to a café bar and take in the full afternoon of racing, including on a big screen.

Park & Picnic Bubble tickets are available for £100 per car which equates to £25 per head for a group of four.

Perth Racecourse CEO Hazel Peplinski said:

“The Park & Picnic Bubble offer takes advantage of the huge open space we have in the middle of the course to allow racing fans to enjoy live sport whilst Perth & Kinross is still in Level One whereby we are required to physically distance by 2 metres. The number of tickets we can accommodate is still very restricted and shall be sold on a first come first served basis with every customer agreeing to a code of conduct prior to purchasing. It is up to all ticket holders to support us with full protocol compliance so that everyone can enjoy the racing in the knowledge that they are at minimal risk. We continue to move our plans forward cautiously in the hope that restrictions are lifted for the second half of our season.”

BRAW Raceday is right in the heart of a bumper Scottish sporting weekend, taking place less than 24 hours after Scotland face England at Wembley in football’s EURO 2020 finals. In advance of BRAW Raceday, all ticket holders will be provided with information regarding what is expected of them to ensure everyone on site helps contribute to a safe, family-friendly atmosphere and complies with all Government guidelines.

Turning up without a ticket shall result in non-admission.

With another nine fixtures scheduled to follow BRAW Raceday, the team at Perth hope to – pending further relaxation of restrictions – be able to gradually admit greater numbers of racegoers to the track between now and September.
