GOFFS UK SALES NEWS
Following the Government announcement regarding the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in England, Goffs UK have issued new COVID-19 guidelines ahead of the Doncaster August Sale on 4 – 5 August.
The Doncaster August Sale has been extended to two-days this year and will see 165 horses-in-training and pointers offered on Wednesday from 11am, followed by 134 stores and 84 NH yearlings on Thursday from 10am.
The sale will see a gradual easing of COVID-19 restrictions for those wishing to enter the Sales Complex and the following protocols will be in place:
• Attendees are no longer required to complete the pre-sale medical questionnaire, but we will continue with temperature checks at the entrance to the Sales Complex.
• It is no longer mandatory to wear masks within the Sales Complex, but we strongly advise all of our clients to wear face masks when indoors.
• Hand sanitiser will continue to be readily available throughout the Sales Complex and we strongly advise everyone at the sales to regularly sanitise their hands.
• Plastic screens will remain in place to protect our clients and the Goffs UK team.
• The Willie Stephenson Restaurant will re-open with the option to sit indoors or on the external balcony.
• It will now be feasible to sit inside the Ken Oliver Bar, but we strongly encourage everyone to eat outside if possible.
• We now have the ability to order drinks directly from the Ken Oliver Bar, but a table service facility will remain in operation and we strongly encourage everyone to use this if possible.
