GOFFS UK - Goffs to Hold Another P2P Sale at Yorton on Thursday 17 December

Published 2020/11/17

The November edition was the first of its kind at Yorton Farm Stud and achieved a record top price of £570,000 together with a clearance rate of 75% and, following consultation with key vendors who attended the sale, Goffs have agreed to hold a similar sale just one week prior to Christmas.

Following the recent announcement, Goffs UK Managing Director Tim Kent commented:

"The initial P2P Sale at Yorton was a huge success and we are incredibly grateful to the Potter and Futter families who enabled the sale to take place. The location of Yorton Farm Stud and the facilities available to vendors and purchasers were universally praised and it quickly became obvious that our clients wanted more of the same.

"We received strong feedback from vendors that they wanted to sell at a traditional sale held at a proven NH venue and offer horses to a UK market so it made sense to add another date to enable this sector to continue to trade their horses during this busy Autumn period. We were delighted to sell six horses for £100,000 or more and we look forward to working with vendors to create a similar market at Yorton next month.’’

Goffs have also agreed not to include a P2P section in the HIT Sale on Friday 4 December to avoid any potential clash in an effort to assist all vendors and purchasers during this busy Autumn sales schedule.
