Last year’s Group 2 Norfolk Stakes winner A’ALI became the sale’s sixth Royal Ascot winner since 2010 – a success rate unmatched by any other 2YO sale in the world. Other top 2YOs were the £450,000 sale topping filly AL RAYA, WOOTTON'S COLT, Gr.3 winner STREAMLINE and the unbeaten Gr.3 winner and 2000 Guineas hope KENZAI WARRIOR. The sale also produced last season’s Swedish Derby winner RED CACTUS who is being aimed at the Dubai World Cup meeting.

The 2020 catalogue will offer 165 2YOs featuring progeny by Europe and America’s best sires with some outstanding Black-Type families represented. Some of the many highlights include:

Goffs UK Managing Director Tim Kent commented:

“This sale has had an exceptional year with another Royal Ascot winner in A’Ali heading a very smart group of five Stakes winning 2YO graduates. Combined with what was a strong 2019 sale – consignors have really backed us and have sent some outstanding horses. The result is a catalogue among the strongest produced in the sale’s 43-year history.

“As per previous years, all horses are eligible for the Swedish Derby and Oaks Series which has proven a big success for the sale with Red Cactus winning the Swedish Derby last year. The global appeal of this sale continues to grow and we look forward to welcoming a large domestic and international audience to Doncaster on 22 – 23 April.”

The Doncaster Breeze Up Sale will commence on Wednesday 22 April at 11am with the Breeze on Doncaster Racecourse. The sale will be held the following day on Thursday 23 April from 11am at the Doncaster Sales Complex.
