Disciplinary Panel results of fast-tracked cases (L. Kelly, I. Mohammed, G. McPherson)
£200 fine - a breach of Rule (J)2 of the Rules of Racing in that she recently contacted the BHA enquiring what notification was needed in relation to her recent sponsorship by Paddy Power. A confirmation email was sent to her on 1 November 2019 advising her what was required under the Rules of Racing. An attachment was also sent giving Guidelines for Riders who have entered into a Commercial Arrangement with a Betting Organisation (September 2019). However, it has since been brought to the BHA’s attention that she failed to notify the BHA of this arrangement whilst continuing to work for Paddy Power.
£200 fine - breach of Rule (D)27 of the Rules of Racing in that when ZHUKOVSKY (IRE) ran at Wolverhampton on 14 December 2019 he had not notified the Racing Calendar Office that it had been gelded before the deadline as required.
£100 fine - breach of Rule (D)27 of the Rules of Racing in that when DEHRADUN ran at Taunton on 7 January 2020 he had not notified the Racing Calendar Office that it had been gelded before the deadline as required. The Chairman noted that notification was given but not until after declarations.
