Notice of an Enquiry (R. Hannon) to be heard by the Disciplinary Panel on Tuesday 24 May

The independent Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority will convene on Tuesday 24 May 2022 to hear the following:

Whether Responsible Person Richard Hannon is in breach of Rule (K)1 (Presence of a Prohibited Substance) of the Rules of Racing due to the presence of arsenic, above the permitted threshold, in a pre-race sample taken from OH PURPLE REIGN (IRE) prior to the 15.35 Tattersalls Stakes (Class 1) (Registered as the Sommerville Tattersalls Stake) held at Newmarket racecourse on 26 September 2019;

Whether, as its pre-race sample tested positive for a Prohibited Substance, OH PURPLE REIGN (IRE) should be disqualified from the relevant race under Rule (L)47 Ground 4 (Horse Disqualifications).
